Accessibility Standards Compliance

Fantasy Sports Math League is built to work for as many students as possible. Accessibility is ongoing work for us, not a one-time checkbox, and we keep improving it as the platform grows.
Built to support diverse learners
FSML's design helps a range of students succeed: adjustable difficulty levels, week-long completion windows with no timed components, unlimited retries with immediate feedback, and no handwriting required. These features work for every student, with or without assistive technology.
What we've recently improved
Images across the platform include descriptive alt text so screen readers can describe them. And the number fields students use for the game's core scoring activity now include screen-reader labels, making that central interaction usable with assistive technology.
Privacy you can count on
FSML is COPPA and FERPA compliant. We collect only what's needed to run the game (name, grade, email, and game data), we never sell or share student data for commercial purposes, and teacher access is role-based and encrypted.
Where we're headed next
We're continuing to work toward full WCAG 2.1 Level AA and Section 508 alignment. That includes a formal third-party accessibility audit, broader screen reader and keyboard-navigation testing, color contrast verification, MathML support for math notation, and finishing captions on our video tutorials. We'll update this page as that work lands.
Questions, or evaluating FSML for your district?
We want to hear about accessibility barriers as you find them. If you're a district evaluating FSML for procurement, we're glad to share a detailed accessibility and compliance overview on request — reach out below.
